What a nice surprise!! I am in New Orleans right now downtown on canal street. I had no idea this layover was down here since it's such a short stay. I hope to venture out to the French quarter and snap a few pics. PS: who do you think is getting voted off AI tonight??

Photo Op.....

I was very excited to meet Jennifer Garner today. Most people know her from the Lead Role of the tv show Alias, or the movie 13 going on 30. One of my favorite roles starring her was in Juno. Jennifer is wife of Ben Affleck and just had her 2nd child 3 months ago. She was so nice and gracious to have a picture taken with me. Thanks Jen!!

Bea Arthur, the actress best known for her roles as television's "Maude" and the sardonic Dorothy on "The Golden Girls," has died of cancer, a family spokesman said Saturday. She was 86. Spokesman Dan Watt said that Arthur died Saturday morning at her home in Los Angeles, her family by her side.

This is pretty much how I feel today. It's 80 degree outside this weekend in Boston and I am inside stuck in front of the computer working on schedules. Not Fair!! I wish I could play hookie!!

I just saw that Its suppose to be in the low 80's this weekend in Boston. Oh I can't wait. Of course I will be on the computer the whole time, but with the windows open for sure!!

What a gift!!

For my birthday Dustin got me a new Nikon D-60 Digital camera. Boy was I surprised!! I have always wanted a professional camera to take my photography to the next level. He got the whole family in on it. I got filters, how-to-it books and DVD's, a camera bag, extra battery, larger memory card and a amazon gift cards so I can buy whatever else I want or need for my new toy. Now for the advance warning to all my friends and family, you are now all subject to my photo shoots. Please look your finest at all times cause you never know when I am going to ask you to....say cheese!! Thanks again everyone for the wonderful gift. I will get years of use out of it and a lifetime of memories.

Happy Birthday to me......

Today at 7am I become 36 years old. Thank goodness I take after my parents young looks cause I don't think I look that old. All of my Flight Attendant friends always tell me, " your still a baby." I asked one of them, "when am I no longer going to be called baby?". She replied, " honey, as long as you are younger than me, you'll always be the baby!" For my family who will be trying to call me today. I will be in LAX and we land around 1130am. I fly the all-nighter back to Boston so my phone will be turned off while I am sleeping. Thanks for all the birthday wishes and I cannot wait to get back to Boston to open all my presents!!

It's the First Day of Spring today, and I can pretty much speak for everyone....it's about time!!

Countdown to Cabo continues.....

Well my weight-loss program is STILL going very strong. I thought I would share a new milestone with all of you. Today for the first time in a VERY long time I am unofficially under 200 pounds. I weighed in at 198.4. YIPPEE !! Here are the facts, since October 2nd I am down 21.4 pounds, since January when I started the program I am down 13.4 pounds. Only 13 more pounds to go to reach my goal weight of 185. Nothing is going to stop me now!!!

What Have I been up to this month?

I have been in Tucson, all month. It has been so relaxing and perfect weather. It's been in the 80's all month so far. Here is my routine. Get to my room, check messages and do trip trades. Then head to the pool for about 4 hours while I work on my tan for Cabo. Then its dinner time and an hour workout before turning into bed. Our pick up is 3:30 am so its lights out around nine. Not too shabby eh??

A very close call !!

I was walking home from the subway to find all of this going on right in front of my house. Do you see my car? Do you see the car that crashed into a cement flower pot and pushed it across the street and into the neighbors car? Did you see how close those skid marks are to my car? So close but not a single thing touched my car......Thank you oh guardian angel !!

It's my favorite time of the year, when the nights are shorter and the days are longer. Don't forget tonight when you go to bed to SPRING FORWARD ONE HOUR. Although this is the one we lose an hour of sleep, we gain much more daylight. Don't worry mom and grandma I will still call to remind you just as I always do. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well, Sorry for the lack of updates, but nothing new has really been going on in my life. I have been flying lots. Dustin and I are headed to Seattle tomorrow for my dad's official retirement party on Saturday. We will be there till Monday, so that should be fun. Hope you have a great weekend as well.
