Vacation-Bound!!

I just got in from my last trip tonight and now I am off until April 6th, Wahooo!! What's on the agenda, first I head to Phoenix to meet up with Dustin and his family, then up to the Oregon Coast for my Birthday weekend. I fly back to Boston on the 5th of April, fly a two day Minneapolis trip and then I am off on a " Secret Holiday" with Dustin from the 8th to the 12th. I still have no idea where he is taking me.

Today is the first day of Spring!! And I am ready for it!! The sun is shinning today in Boston, suppose to be 72, too bad I have to get on a plane and leave it all behind!

It's that time again....

It's hard to believe, but tonight is the night when we lose an hour of sleep and spring forward one hour. The only thing good about this, is the longer days!!

Nothing new....

Well, my month of sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring are over. I am back at work full-time this month. In just the first 8 days I have already flown what I flew all last month. I have some great downtown Chicago layovers this month, I am really looking forward to those. Also at the end of the month Dustin and I will be flying to PHX to see his folks, Sara and Miya. I am really looking forward to that!! Then I will be heading up to PDX to celebrate my birthday with a trip to the Oregon Coast. Its been a long time since I have been to the beach house, can't wait. Okay, now you are up to date!!

AP — Initial waves not causing significant damage: "The first waves looked more like an extreme fluctuation in the tide than the giant tsunami that Hawaii and the rest of the Pacific Ocean were bracing for after the magnitude-8.8 quake devastated Chile. The wave began affecting Hilo Bay on the Big Island just before noon local time. Water began pulling away from shore, exposing reefs and sending dark streaks of muddy, sandy water offshore. Water later washed over Coconut Island, a small park off the coast of Hilo. The tsunami was causing a series of surges that were about 20 minutes apart, and the waves arrived later and smaller than originally predicted. The highest wave at Hilo measured 5.5 feet high, while Maui saw some as high as 6 feet. "

Today I used the power of " The Secret " to manifest my flight to JFK canceling and me getting to come home. Well, I am happy to report, it worked! After a 3 hour delay, we got the good news!! (Well, good for me). Now I can watch the Olympics and American Idol from my couch, WAHOO!!

We are on Day 1 of a cold snap, that is pretty much affecting the entire country. Right now in Boston its 16 degrees and the windchill (what it feels like) -1 degree!! I have only one thing to say about that, " Gross!!"

A reason to keep HOPE!

A man was pulled from rubble in Haiti's capital on Tuesday, two weeks after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake leveled much of the city, officials said. Ricot Duprevil, 31, was in stable condition at a medical facility where he was being treated for a broken leg, medical and rescue officials told CNN. Duprevil had access to water while he was trapped, the officials said. The man was discovered by the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division's Delta Company during a rubble-clearing mission in downtown Port-au-Prince.

Dear American Airlines,
On December 9th I was on flight 1527 from Boston to Chicago. I found the flight attendants to be extremely impressive. I had a slight medical issue and it was handled exceptionally well by the flight attendants, Ryan Perry and Maura Gahan. They offered me assistance with compassion and a caring attitude that was much appreciated. According to my physician their actions were very appropriate for my situation. I have never had a medical problem like that on a fight, and am sincerely grateful for service, rendered above and beyond, by Mr. Perry and Ms. Gahan. Because of their actions, I was able to recover without further deterioration and continue my trip. Please know that they made a major difference to me and I was significantly impressed by their response without hesitation. Any organization would be proud to have professionals of this caliber representing then in a stressful situation. If there is anyway they can be formally recognized for their outstanding performance. I hope you will make this effort.Thank you for fostering and attitude of customer service and professionalism at American Airlines. I will continue to be a loyal customer.
