Although their visit was way too short, its always great to have Family in the house....(hint, hint).
Over the Summer, I had promised my Aunt the next time I had a layover in Denver I would call her. Would you know just a month later I had one. We enjoyed a great dinner and wonderful conversation. It was really great getting to reconnect with you Joan. Thanks for driving down to see me. Hope it gets to happen again soon!!
What do you think? I like J.Lo, but I was hoping for someone youthful like Justin Timberlake. Jen does good though, I'll give her that!!

After months of waiting, and seeing everyone on the airplane have one except me....We gave in and finally got one. This is a Ipad. Apple's latest and greatest toy. I'm still learning the ins and out the whole thing, but I know over time, its gonna be my new best friend.

On a Sunday a couple of weeks ago my friend Kelli (seen up top) invited me to join her and her entire family for a huge feast. She lives up in central New Hampshire, on Lake Winnipesaukee. This is no tiny lake, it has 72 square miles of water surface, 253 islands and is 182 miles around the entire lake. I came up the night before so we could get a full days in the following day. Its about a 2 hr drive from my house. We got up early and we went for a boat ride and she gave me the grand tour. The water was like glass and we hardly saw another boat. It was amazing and beautiful. Several of the islands are small enough and only contain one house per island. We cruised for a couple hours, then came back to her house for a lasagna dinner. I took lots of pics and I will post them all on my facebook page, but here a few of my favorites! Thanks Kelli for such an amazing day. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my one and only day off that week!! 
It has been great laying over in Seattle this Summer. It has been so nice to be on the west coast for past two months. A few of my layovers, when my family was away or busy, I would take the crew out for an adventure. This layover was no exception! After landing just 30 mins earlier, myself and the crew boarded one the Washington state ferries and rode it an hour over to Bremerton. From there we could walk to Anthony's for a wonderful seafood dinner on the patio. Then two hours later, we boarded the ferry back to Seattle. I never remember my head hitting the pillow that night, but as you can see from some of my favorite pics, we had a great time! On the home front, we do have BIG news. My sister Rebecca, her boyfriend Eric proposed to her on her Birthday in Hawaii on July 17th. The whole family is very excited for the both of them. Welcome to the Family Eric!!Check out this video I saw online today! She said she never was scared, I don't believe her.
After flying almost 100 hours in the past 2 weeks, I now have a stretch of days off. I am so excited about that!! I will be spending the week with my Mom and Sister in Portland. Its been too long since I have seen them both, so I am really looking forward to it.

Although I know you are off to a great start this year....Her boyfriend surprised her with a trip to Maui for her bday!! Sounds like a fun birthday to me. On one of my 7 layovers in Seattle this month, I got to go home and visit my family. Pictured above is Me and Connor, Chance (my grandma's dog), My beautiful Grandmother, and just some of the flowers in the amazing berm in the backyard. It was a short visit, but we always have a good time.

I had to video tape it so I could enjoy it over and over again.
I snapped this picture while sitting at a red light. Wouldn't be so bad but this heat is accompanied by humidity and that makes it Gross!! It's suppose to be hot till Saturday then the humid air moves out. Good thing I will be in Seattle all month :-)

It's 94 degrees in Boston right now. The nice part, NO HUMIDITY. So its actually very pleasant. Of course I am sitting in my air conditioned house at a comfortable 73 degrees!! Suppose to be a little hotter tomorrow!!

Welcome to the family, Josie Justine Zielinski. Born to Dustin's sister Alexis last night. Entering into the world at 7lbs, 3oz, and 19 1/2 inches long. Congrats to Zach, Lexi, and Thomas to the new addition. Can't wait to meet her!!
