Great layover!!

Greetings from SFO!! I have been flying my butt off again this month. However having a blast no matter where I am. Standing in front on the infamous "Lombard Street" I took this photo op. Had so much fun on this layover, when I have a moment I will post some more pics. Next month is reserve so I usually have some down time.

Finally got it done!!

Well, after months of trying to pick out the best tile, we finally found one and had it put in last week. Dustin and I are very pleased how it turned out. Thanks to all those who help contribute to the tile fund. I think it turned out great!!

Corporate Greed.....

On the same day my airline announced it lost 405 million dollars the past quarter, they rewarded themselves with a bonus of more than 100 million dollars. Disgusting!! Across the nation we picketed today in protest of this unfair practice. You can see more of my pics on my face book page, but I thought I would include the one of me on my blog.

Fun in the Sun!

I love LA. I love riding my bike on the strand. I love the warm weather and being on the ocean. On my latest bike ride we snapped this picture.

Hey everyone. Sorry for lack of updates, but I have been flying my butt off since getting back from mexico. I've been having a great month so far with downtown Toronto layovers. Also got to get back on the bike in LA. Besides flying, we are looking forward to easter brunch together and a Kylie Minogue concert the end of month. I'm still in the gym, trying to lose the vacation weight. What I thought was weight gain via salt hasn't gone away yet so I'm still hitting the gym hard, haven't quite gotten the snacking part under control but I am really gonna try to hit my goal of 185. I love the shape my body is headed, I just want to reach my goal, I've never stuck with it the entire way. Now you're up to date. Hope each of you are doing well. Take care. Bye for now.

Final Cabo Daily 5 (Sara edition)

I have to give props to my sister-in-law Sara. We had some serious photo battles throughout the week and I have to admit, she really did get a lot of great shots. It was hard for me to choose just 5 of my favorites. It was lots a fun shooting pictures with her. As you can see, she already has a camera eye!!

Headed home today ;-( always sad to go home, but always good to be home.

Cabo Day 5, Daily 5 (My Bday)

Well today marked our last full day here in Cabo and all I can say, what a way to celebrate my birthday. It started off with breakfast in the manana, then poolside afternoon, completed by a mardi gras style dinner at the resort. We had a blast, it was a great way to end our week! Thanks Dustin, Sara, and Miya for making today so special for me. Can't think of a better place to spend my birthday, here in mexico with family. Tomorrow we all head home, but not before one final brunch and hopefully another photo op!! You know I love my photo ops. Thanks for all the birthday wishes on facebook and in phone calls, its always great to be loved! Until then Adios!

Cabo Day 4, Daily 5 shots!

Another fun day, tonight we went into town so sara could buy some gifts. It was fun to get out of the resort and walk around. We had an excellent dinner, even stopped at the local Dairy Queen. Tomorrow is our last full day here, it also falls on my 38th birthday, ugh!! Something tells me, it will involve the pool, sun and food. Until then, adios!!

Cabo Day 3, Daily 5 pics!

Today's activities included, Dustin on a wave-runner, A glass-botttom boat ride out to the rocks, swimming and lots of eating. We had a really great dinner tonight too. The surf and turf was delicious. I took more than 50 pics of those rocks and boat ride, but as my mom always told me, you can only see so many pictures of waves crashing on the rocks.....so I'll save those pics for another day. Tomorrow we spend the day at Rose (our resort), so far we have been at blanco (sara's/miya's) resort each day. Until then.....Happy April Fool's Day!!

On Vacation.......

Today we leave for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!! So excited, its been two years since our last visit. This year we will be going with Sara and Miya, it should be a blast!! I am gonna blog 5 pictures a day, so be on the look out for these pics each day. Stay warm and I promise to think of each of you, each day, from the beach.......Bon Voyage!

Pre-Vacation Weigh-in.....

It's official. I am in the 180's. 189.4 to be exact!! 27.6 pounds since December 1st. Although I did miss my goal of 185, I have not stopped the mission!! I plan on being in the gym everyday on vacation. Work out in morning and pig out by the pool the rest of the day. Sounds pretty good to me. So I heard I now have a little weight-loss challenger, He shall remain nameless, but Dad it's on!! Oh wait, that was suppose to be a secret :-)

I just did something I have never done before. I set my alarm for 545 am and went to the gym before my 8 am flight! Oh yeah baby, I'm in it to win it!!

Just starting my last trip before starting our vacation. Can't wait. So excited. I have big news to share but ran out of time this afternoon. I'll post it later. Here's a hint. A new milestone was achieved at today's weigh in. Haha. That should give it away. Have a great day everyone. I'm off to tampa.

10 more days to go......

With only 10 more days till we leave for Mexico, I have found myself in uncharted territory. I am only 5 pounds away from my goal of 185. I am officially down 27 pounds. I so want to see the 180's will it happen.....

Don't forget tonight when you go to bed to spring forward 1 hour.

Diet Continues........

I have reached the point of my diet where I have bottomed out in the past. I checked-in at 194 this morning, that's 23lbs lost. 2 yrs ago I was at 194, but never made it to my goal of 185. Will it happen this time? I am going to try!! Will it happen before March 28th? I don't think so! However I will feel a lot more comfortable in my swimsuit now, than I would of 23 pounds ago. 9 more pounds to go......to be continued!!

So Sad.......

My thoughts and prayers with all those faced with the aftermath of such terrible loss and destruction in japan. So sad, when these things happen around the world.
