This is it........

This is it....the last day to eat whatever I want. Tomorrow, October 1st, 2008, let the record show that I am officially starting my weight loss program again. Although I will not mention my starting weight I will keep you up-to-date with my progress. I am going to start Weight Watchers again, it seems to really work for me. SO wish me luck, But as for today, let the feast begin :-0

One thing Fall is good for.....

One thing good about the Fall Season is all my Favorite shows return with fresh episodes. Tonight two of them start, Desperate Housewives and Brother's & Sister's. Not to mention a new Family Guy and Amazing Race ALL start tonight...... Thank goodness for a DVR!! Which shows are you most looking forward to?

A couple of weeks ago I posted the same pic while Hurricane Ike was passing a few hundred miles away. Now on a picture perfect day you can see why we enjoy laying over in Miami. As I look at this pic I am wondering why I am on my laptop and not down in that pool!!

Starting tonight....

At least 1 good thing about it turning Fall today is my favorite shows are about to begin their new season. Kicking it off tonight at 8pm is Dancing with the Stars. This season has some great celebrities. Who are you hoping makes it to the end. Some of my favs are: Rocco, Lucci, and Bass.

Ready or Not......

Ready or Not, its the first day of Fall today. Where did the Summer go? It's finally starting to get nice here weather-wise too!!

Everyone keeps asking.....

Everyone at work keep asking me how my visit home was, and I realize how much fun I had seeing the family and how homesick I get. I wish I lived closer so I could see them more often. Now if I could just get some of them to come out and visit me here in Boston...hint, hint!!

Their house survived Ike, but it's the only one left

Warren and Pam Adams lost a house to Hurricane Rita in 2005, so it seems they'd be relieved to learn their new home withstood Hurricane Ike. But not when their house is the only one still standing in their section of Gilchrist, Texas. "As we got there, the tears started flowing," Warren Adams said. I just can't shake this image from my head, can you imagine?

I finally get to see Dustin tomorrow, its the first time this month. He gets back from Amsterdam in the morning. Can't wait to see him!!

A Favorite Actor.

I got to meet "Jim" from the NBC TV hit show "The Office" today. John Krasinski is actually from the Boston area, so it was real cool to see him in person.

Never Forget.....

Today marks the 7th Anniversary of September 11th, 2001. Not one day goes by that I don't think about that day. The loss of so many lives and so many friends. Peace be with you today and always.

Happy Birthday Mom.

Today is my Mom's Birthday. I just got off the phone with her and she said that she had been having the best birthday ever. Although I am not with her (we just spent a week together) she knows that I have kept her in my thoughts all day. Mom, hope all of your birthday wishes come true. I love you. Happy Birthday again!!

I am currently in South Beach, Florida and this is the view from my hotel room. So far I haven't seen any squalls come through. Lots of wind and big waves!! Can you see the palm tree leaves and the warning flags blowing in the wind?

My Mom and I went to the Portland Zoo today. I got several great animal shots, but this little otter was so cute I just had to video tape him and share it with all of you. I just had to post it, it's too cute!! He was getting alot of attention and he loved it!!

Today I spent the day walking around the Pearl District of downtown Portland. They had First Thursday going on where all the art galleries stay open late, artist fill the streets selling their work, live music, even a 60 foot movie screen showing Casino Royale in the park. I may of found something very cute for little Miya too. Once Becca finished working we met for dinner and ate at the Matador on 23rd street. Pretty fun day but my feet are very tired from all the walking!!

Today my mom and I spent the day being pampered. Started with mani/pedi's and ended with hour long full body massages. Hey, everyone needs a day like this once in awhile, don't you agree?

Next stop....Portland.

The final stop in my family reunion tour is Portland, Oregon. This is where my Mom and Sister live. I will be here until Sunday.
