Day of Thanks!

I am thankful for my wonderful Husband, My family and friends. I am thankful for my health and the roof over my head. I am also thankful to YOU for reading my blog each day!

Just saw Seattle and Portland may get snow tonight thru Monday. That's crazy you'll get the first snow before we will in Boston!!

ITS A DONE DEAL......

I am so happy to say, after 3 yrs of trying to refinance our home, just 3 Min's ago, I closed the deal!! I didn't think it was gonna happen having an underwater mortgage but my persistence paid off and I am saving more than 300 bucks a month. WAHOOOO!!

A Veteran is someone who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including their life. That is beyond honor, and there are way too many people in this country who have forgotten that fact. Thank you to all those who serve, will serve, and have served!

Don't forget tonight when you go to bed we change the clocks BACK one hour. At 2 am on Sunday we get an extra hour of sleep....Wahoo!!

Dustin and I got a kick out of this the next night on Access Hollywood they showed a clip of Jennifer Grey kissing her daughter, that's her husband and Jamie lee Curtis in the front row, oh yeah and in the 3rd row Ryan Perry...Thank you very much!!

So I finally got to go to a taping of Dancing with the stars! I have been watching this show for the past 11 seasons and to be in the ball room and see all the pro-dancers, I have been watching for so long face to face was a dream come true. This particular evening was the 200th episode so there were over 100 stars in the room where I was, from David Hassalhoff, to Sharon Osbourne, Donny Osmond, Jamie lee Curtis, Lance Base, Gilles Marini, Emmett Smith, So many more. To see them all in one building was amazing!! I wish I could of taken pics but they take our phone and cameras 2 hours before the show. They also said if we asked any of the celebrities for autographs we'd be escorted out. SO I just sat there with a smile on my face from ear to ear taking it all in.The show tapes live so after 2 hours it was all over. When I got home, I watched the broadcast and I saw myself 13 times on camera, mostly 1 second shots but twice full on. I hope I get the opportunity to do it again next season! Besides my wedding day, this had to be one of the best things I have ever got to do!!
