Happy Thanksgiving Everyone !!

Wishing each of you a Safe and Joyous Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my family, my husband, my friends, my health, (minus the past week). I am thankful I have the means to live the kind of life I deserve. I hope each of you do as well. Happy Thanksgiving !!

Still under the Weather....

This is an artist rendition of how I have looked over the past 8 days. Sorry for the lack of updates, but I got a cough about 9 days ago, lost my voice and has turned into Bronchitis!! Perfect timing, I got to be home in Portland with my Mom, however didn't make doing December schedules much fun. Now that I am on antibiotics, I am feeling much better already!

I finally got one.....

After months of being VERY jealous of Dustin's Phone, I finally get one of my own! I am so excited to learn everything about it. Thanks in advance to my super husband who will no doubt be answering 100's of questions for me.

Polls open as America rewrites history

Americans are lining up at polling stations today in what already is one of the most historic U.S. elections. Democrat Barack Obama could become the nation's first African-American president. Republican John McCain could become the oldest president elected to a first term. McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin, could become the first woman elected vice president. Americans also are expected to vote in record numbers.

Make your Voice heard !!

Today, we the people (and the electoral college) will decide who we want to lead this country. Make sure you go out and make your voice heard. We need change, we need a new vision. Who ever you think can lead us best into that path, just make sure you VOTE.

Don't forget tonight when you go to bed to move your clocks back 1 hour. This is the good one, this is the one where you get an extra hour of sleep. Remember FALL BACK one hour!

The Official Weigh-In.....

There are two kinds of weigh-ins while on a diet. The first is the unofficial one you do at home, every morning when you wake up, after you eat, three more times during the day and once before bed. Then there is the official weigh-in done in the WW office, with clothes on and on carpet of all things. So today I had an official weigh-in and the verdict was.....down another 4.4 lbs bringing the total weight loss so far to 8 lbs. Now unofficially I weighed in on my scale down 11 lbs so far. I already see a difference in my appearance and in my uniform. I am even down one belt notch already. Seems like everyone is on a program right now, so keep it up guys, lets motivate each other. Keep me posted on your progress as well. Good Luck!
