DWTS update.

We didn't get in......after flying from Boston to San Diego via Chicago. Then driving from SAN to Los Angeles, 120 miles to stand in line for 2 hrs, we never got to see the show! The good news, if there was any was, now I get a free pass to another taping and I get to go to the front of the line. Now I just hope I will be in LAX on a Monday or Tuesday.

On my way to the Dancing with the Stars studio. There is NO cameras allowed so I will have to paint you a mental picture. Look for me tonight at 8 pm.

Weather Changing......

You can feel it in the Air. On the 2nd day of October, the weather changing. There is a cool, crispness in the air. Today in Chicago, it was 48 degrees, and this week in Boston, the highs are just in the 50's. Hopefully, we will still have a few days of warmth yet, I am soooo not ready
for winter!!

Short but Sweet......

Although their visit was way too short, its always great to have Family in the house....(hint, hint).

Dustin's folks, Mike and Cynthia stopped by Boston for a couple days on their End of Summer tour. Be sure to come back and visit us soon, We love the company.....(hint, hint) to everyone else too!!

Dinner with Joan....

Over the Summer, I had promised my Aunt the next time I had a layover in Denver I would call her. Would you know just a month later I had one. We enjoyed a great dinner and wonderful conversation. It was really great getting to reconnect with you Joan. Thanks for driving down to see me. Hope it gets to happen again soon!!

Guess what we got?

After months of waiting, and seeing everyone on the airplane have one except me....We gave in and finally got one. This is a Ipad. Apple's latest and greatest toy. I'm still learning the ins and out the whole thing, but I know over time, its gonna be my new best friend.

Last Day of August....

Well the End of Summer is upon us. Although in the 90's today in Boston, I noticed the first signs of leaves starting to change color already. I just wrapped up 127 hrs of flying this month. Seems like a lot, and it is, but don't feel too bad for me. Most of it was spent in Seattle. I am going to try to start up another diet program. I think I will stick with Weight Watchers. It seems to work best for me. I have been kinda lazy with it the past few month, but I really do want to start up again. So now you are up to date, Hope each of you are doing well and enjoying what is left of the summer. We have Hurricane Earl headed toward the East Coast this week. They are saying it could be a Cat 2 when it gets to Cape Cod. I'll keep ya posted! Bye for now.

A day on Lake Winni.....

On a Sunday a couple of weeks ago my friend Kelli (seen up top) invited me to join her and her entire family for a huge feast. She lives up in central New Hampshire, on Lake Winnipesaukee. This is no tiny lake, it has 72 square miles of water surface, 253 islands and is 182 miles around the entire lake. I came up the night before so we could get a full days in the following day. Its about a 2 hr drive from my house. We got up early and we went for a boat ride and she gave me the grand tour. The water was like glass and we hardly saw another boat. It was amazing and beautiful. Several of the islands are small enough and only contain one house per island. We cruised for a couple hours, then came back to her house for a lasagna dinner. I took lots of pics and I will post them all on my facebook page, but here a few of my favorites! Thanks Kelli for such an amazing day. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my one and only day off that week!!

Another great layover in Seattle!

It has been great laying over in Seattle this Summer. It has been so nice to be on the west coast for past two months. A few of my layovers, when my family was away or busy, I would take the crew out for an adventure. This layover was no exception! After landing just 30 mins earlier, myself and the crew boarded one the Washington state ferries and rode it an hour over to Bremerton. From there we could walk to Anthony's for a wonderful seafood dinner on the patio. Then two hours later, we boarded the ferry back to Seattle. I never remember my head hitting the pillow that night, but as you can see from some of my favorite pics, we had a great time! On the home front, we do have BIG news. My sister Rebecca, her boyfriend Eric proposed to her on her Birthday in Hawaii on July 17th. The whole family is very excited for the both of them. Welcome to the Family Eric!!

Catching up.....

Hey Everyone.
Sorry there has been a lack of post. I know all two of you have been on the edge of your seat waiting for my next entry. I just finished flying a very big month. It was full of Seattle layovers, it has been so great to be able to see the family on several occasions. I also was able to take a week off and spend it at my mom's house. That was truly wonderful to see her. Although I had to spend many of the days on the computer working on schedules. It was still great to visit on my down time. I have another big month ahead of me. I have 125 hrs!! I don't know why I fly so much, but I get another 7 layovers in Seattle, that's the good part! This month is a little easier though my trips are more spread out so I have a day or two off after each trip. So that's it. You're now up to speed. Hope you are well. Thanks for still showing an interest in my blog!!

Going Home.....

After flying almost 100 hours in the past 2 weeks, I now have a stretch of days off. I am so excited about that!! I will be spending the week with my Mom and Sister in Portland. Its been too long since I have seen them both, so I am really looking forward to it.

A Recent Visit to Dad's House.

On one of my 7 layovers in Seattle this month, I got to go home and visit my family. Pictured above is Me and Connor, Chance (my grandma's dog), My beautiful Grandmother, and just some of the flowers in the amazing berm in the backyard. It was a short visit, but we always have a good time.

UFO?

A UFO in China? Did you read about this. I guess a source is saying it is somehow military related and there is to be a press conference on Friday. It closed the airport in China for 4 hours.
Any ideas what it could be??

Flowers Galore

While walking through the Pike Place Market, I am always amazed how beautiful all the flowers are. These bouquets in this video were only $15 each...Amazing!! I had to video tape it so I could enjoy it over and over again.

It's a hot one today.....

I snapped this picture while sitting at a red light. Wouldn't be so bad but this heat is accompanied by humidity and that makes it Gross!! It's suppose to be hot till Saturday then the humid air moves out. Good thing I will be in Seattle all month :-)
