I am in LA for the weekend and thought it would be fun to rent a bike and ride along the beach. I have done this many times before, however this would be the first time I would take on this kind of journey. My goal was to start at the Redondo Pier (as seen above) and ride to Santa Monica Pier. Sounds easy right? Did I make it all the way? How long was this ride? Find Out below!!

The next Pier is Hermosa Beach.They have a really good breakfast place in there.
And No, I did not stop to eat.

There must of been close to a half million people there.
It was crazy!! Looked like lots of fun though.
Then I rode past the Marina Del Rey.Spotted this Yacht. Can you see the helicopter on top?
Man, I wish I knew someone on that boat.

So I made it to the end, WOW.What's that? Now I have to do it all over again and go back to Redondo Pier
So I eventually, do make it all the way back to where I had started.
I asked the lady who was cashing me out, Do you know how far it is
from Redondo to Santa Monic Pier? She said I do.......
19 miles
Wait, 19 miles one way?
YUP
So my little bike ride adventure turned into a 38 mile bike ride.
All I have to show for this adventure is the pics above the the sunburn on my arms!!

OMG... I didn't know you were on this kind of bike ride!! I thought you were dong a little bike cruise. I hope you keep hydrated with H2O and sunscreen to protect your self. Love the photos. Yes let me know when you get the name of the guy who owns that yacht!
